Sinopse
Originally: a couple lost at sea in a little bathtub. Directions are uncertain. They’re absolutely miserable. They’ve lost everything: the house in a nice residential area, the car on credit, the French garden “with wonderful roses”. The bank took everything. Only Jesus is able to help them, they think. While they think on that way out, they come to a piece of land. Uncharted territory? A place they can call their own and build? During the night, in their dreams, they see Columbus’ caravels to the music of the great maritime achievements...
Agnès Limbos and Grégory Houben have worked together since 2006. That year they created “ô!” at Théâtre de la Balsamine (Brussels), a short theatre play of 25 minutes. “Disorders”, the elliptic and displaced conjuring of three moments in a couple’s life, stems from that performance. “Ressacs” was born from the desire to extend the duo’s work. A distant theatre with an accurate rhythm in regard to both text and actions.
