Sinopse
- Trying to accurately describe a face.
- Trying to describe the face of someone who no longer exists.
- Finding words capable of describing the face of someone who no longer exists.
- Finding the place in one’s brain where the dead remain.
- Someone’s under the rubble.
- Someone’s fully covered in dust.
- Trying to dig to the place where
- Trying to write so as not to forget a face. Trying to salvage a face.
- Trying to turn that face into the one we remember.
- Someone’s blind by an obfuscating light.
- Someone’s blind because it turned dark all of a sudden.
- Someone moves the fog away with his hands
- Or pierces a plastic from within.
- Or a huge
Raquel S. was born in 1986. She moved to Porto, where she pursued a degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in literary, cultural and inter-artistic studies. While still in college, she co-organised the Film and Philosophy programme for three years at Teatro Campo Alegre. In 2011, she worked as editorial assistant. In the same year she was elected president of the Porto University Theatre (TUP), where aside from other tasks she had the chance to work on the dramaturgy of several plays. Nowadays she works in promotion at Academia Contemporânea do Espectáculo, and as dramatist and playwright in theatre and dance performances, having collaborated with companies such as As Boas Raparigas or Teatro do Bolhão. She wrote and directed two plays at TUP: “Medeia de Noitarder”, in 2012 (winner of the City of Lisbon Award at FATAL 2012), and “Atequando”, in 2016.
