Novos Talentos

INÊS LEITE was born in 2003 and started learning the piano at the age of 6 at the Joly Braga Santos Music Conservatory in Portimão. She had private lessons with Álvaro Teixeira Lopes, under whom she currently studies while attending the seventh level of piano at the Silva Monteiro Music Course in Porto. She ranked third at the XIX San Sebastián International Piano Competition in 2015. In Portugal, she won first place at the City of Fundão International Competition (2011), Olga Prats Piano Competition (Palmela, 2012), São Teotónio Piano Competition (Coimbra, 2011 and 2014) and the XIII Santa Cecília International Competition (Porto), among others.
