INTERMITÊNCIAS

PREMIERE ⁄ Coproduction

Dance
“Intermitências” has its starting point in the use of time, understood not only as something linear (past, present, future) but also as traversal element of our existence.
The time that unites and separates us, the time of separation and overlap, the time of friction between contrasting ages.

Joclécio Azevedo was born in Brazil, in 1969. He lives in Porto since 1990. His work crosses different artistic fields, but he’s been intensely dedicated to choreography since 1999. Since 2012 he collaborates with Circular Associação Cultural as resident artist.
