Sinopse

It includes targets that are mere illusions, moods with ups and downs, and music punctuating the action and here and there becoming an accessory element of the everyday life of images. This performance is based on the poetic of gestures, and its well-defined motto could be: “We say what we do, and we do what we say”. It is an open promise to the audience, which one will try to fulfil on stage in the middle of seeming chaos. The title, “GRANDE –” (just like that, with a hyphen), needs to be filled out, which opens possibilities for including a new element in this naming. A circus act based on music hall and variety show’s languages.

Tsirihaka Harrivel and Vimala Pons are two of the leading names in the world of contemporary circus. They’ve been working together since 2005. Tsirihaka Harrivel has also separately participated in pieces by Christophe Huysman, Mathurin Bolze and Dominique Dupuy. Vimala Pons, in turn, is also an actress and joined the cast of films by famous directors such as Alain Resnais, Jacques Rivette, Benoît Jacquot, Philippe Garrel, Bertrand Mandico, Antonin Peretjatko, Paul Verhoeven, Sébastien Betbeder, Thomas Salvador or Bruno Podalydès.
