Aquecimento Paralelo with Guilherme de Sousa & Pedro Azevedo

Guilherme de Sousa (Viana do Castelo, 1994) & Pedro Azevedo (Porto, 1996) met in 2014 and have been collaborating professionally since 2016. Their work covers fine arts and performing arts, and they have a special interest in theatre, dance and installation. Among their works stand out “It Takes Two to Tango”, “VANISH”, which won the Campo de Batalha grant, awarded by Teatro Municipal do Porto, and “Horto – Uma forma que vem do toque” [Horto – Form from Touch], which won the third edition of the Happy Together grant, awarded by Mala Voadora in partnership with the Porto Municipal Council / Forum of the Future. We invited Guilherme de Sousa and Pedro Azevedo to lead this Paralelo Warm Up session. Their work intersects several fields, ranging from theatre to dance and the visual arts, and crosses paths with Joana Providência and her work method.
