At its core one finds key musicians from Porto’s music scene (Filipe Silva, João Pais Filipe, Brendan Hemsworth, Frankão, Álvaro Almeida and André Rocha), as well as a wide network of collaborators and musicians joining the extended ensembles. “Totem” is the group’s new album. The ensemble keeps on working out its unique language with repetition, percussion, electronics and wind instruments interacting within a cosmos where Sun Ra and Xenakis live alongside techno and dub.
