Masterclass Telling a story through paper theatre with Raquel Silva / Pensée Visible

This masterclass is divided into two distinct parts. The first will address Raquel Silva’s artistic trajectory, which took her from Porto to Italy and France, where she currently lives and works. It will cover her work, from the time when she started as a performer until she encountered matter and began directing in the field of image and object theatre. The second part will be dedicated to the technique used in Palomar, presented at FIMP: paper theatre. There will be a brief introduction outlining the origins of this art form, still used today by a large number of contemporary artists, as well as the basic principles of construction, manipulation and the narrative possibilities offered by paper theatre.
