Novos Talentos

Born in Lisbon in 2002, Francisco Cabrita started piano lessons at age 7 with teacher Alla Litkovets. He joined the Academia de Amadores de Música in 2012, where he studied with prof.ª Ana Marques, and in 2017 at the National Conservatory, in the class of prof. Helder Entrudo. He is currently studying with Prof. Paulo Oliveira at Metropolitan. He received the first prize of several competitions in Portugal and abroad, among them the Paços Premium International Competition 2022, Orchestra Ferrucio Busoni Agenzia Promusica Competition 2022 (Italy) and Luigi Cerritelli International Competition 2022 (Italy). He had the opportunity to work in a masterclass with António Victorino d'Almeida, Vladimir Viardo and Cristina Ortiz, among others. Since January 2022, he has been a member of the electroacoustic music ensemble Sond'ar-te Electric Ensemble.
