The Porto pianist Marta Patrocínio began her studies at the age of 7 with Maria João Pimentel and took the course at the Porto Music Conservatory under the guidance of Eduardo Resende. In 2012, she joined the University of Arts in Zurich-Switzerland, where she acquired her Bachelor of Arts and two Masters (Performance and Pedagogy) with Till Fellner and Konstantin Scherbakov. In 2021-2022 she followed up with a postgraduate degree with Sergei Edelmann at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Belgium. Marta has worked with prestigious names in the music scene, such as Maria João Pires, António Victorino d’Almeida, Emanuel Ax, Pedro Burmester and Lilya Zilberstein. Today, the pianist teaches at the Zurich Conservatory of Music and performs solo and chamber music concerts.
