Com Histórias [With Stories] was born from the desire to bring to light a series of pieces composed by António Victorino D’Almeida. Dedicated to animals or people, these works had never been heard, not even by the composer. Sara Vaz began her studies with Helena Côrte-Real, continuing with Fátima Travanca and Maria José Souza Guedes at the Conservatory of Music in Porto. She started her degree at ESMAE with Miguel Borges Coelho, finishing it with Marta Zabaleta at Musikene. In Spain, she was selected to be a soloist in a concert at the Kursaal Congress Center in Donostia. She completed her Masters in Music – Performance Variant and in Music Teaching at UA. Awarded in several contests, she has performed solo in Portugal, Spain, France and Netherlands. She studied privately with Artur Pizarro and Olga Prats.
