Sinopse
Tomás Pereira Celeste was born in Matosinhos and began his studies of Transversal Flute at the age of 7 at Escola de Música Óscar da Silva, having completed the Basic Music Course in the Class of Professor Rui Sousa with the highest rating.
He entered the Conservatório de Música do Porto at the age of 15, in 2018, in the Class of Professor Marco Pereira, having also completed the Secondary Music Course with the highest classification in 2021.
He currently attends the Haute École de Musique de Genève, in Professor Michel Bellavance's Class.
During his training, he participated in several national and international competitions, with emphasis on obtaining 1st Prize in the National Music Competition “Gilberta Paiva” in 2015, National Competition “Paços' Premium” in 2016 and Wind Instruments Competition of “Belmonte” in 2017. It also won the Prize for Best Performance in the Soloist Category at the “VI Mostra Eixo Atlântico Musical” in 2018, the 2nd Prize in the International Music Competition of Gondomar in 2019 and the 3rd Prize in the International Competition “Falaut Virtuoso Prize”, organized by the Italian Association of Flautists, in 2020. It was also awarded the 1st Prize in the Internal Wind/Wood and Chamber Music Competitions in 2021, by the Conservatório de Música do Porto.
He participated in several masterclasses, supervised by Professors Marco Pereira, Ana Ferraz, Juliette Hurel, Ana Maria Ribeiro, Benoit Fromanger, Sarah Louvion, among others.
Rodrigo Teixeira was born in Maia, in 2003, and began his musical studies at the age of 8 at the Maia Music Academy, in the violin and piano class of teachers Oleg Ter Martirosov and Marian Pivka and in Musical Training and Composition with the teacher Reuben Andrade. He has been a student of Jill Lawson, since 2016, at Colégio Moderno in Lisbon and since September of that year he has been attending teacher Teresa Xavier's piano class at the Conservatório de Música do Porto. He attended classes and masterclasses with Levente Kende, Caio Pagano, Dalia Ouziel, Miguel Borges Coelho, Fausto Neves and Naum Grubert. At the Maia Academy of Music, he works as a pianist accompanying the various instrument classes. In its curriculum it gathers several first prizes in national and international competitions.
