VOID VOID VOID is a deliberate construction on an empty landscape, where sound, space and gesture are diluted in a single matter, in an invocation of the great cosmic voids. Empty like what we don't see, but its contours, but the trace of a presence. Empty as a potential non-rigid place where the unexpected can take shape and reveal itself. In this performance, the space around the performers has an added importance. It is where everything happens, working on the construction of a cosmic void, where nothing is always occupied by something, where matter, even if dark or invisible, has an energetic force that transports itself and transports us. Creating an immersive and speculative atmosphere, the audience is invited to take a stand. It is not a presentation in space but a presentation of space in permanent becoming: fleeting and expansive. VOID VOID VOID is a choreographic and sound performance that works as a revealing device for the real and the imaginary. — Maria R. Soares & Antonio Marotta
