Sinopse
At times, there are machines, cogs and systems so big and so complex that they seem impossible to stop even when the majority of people think we would be much better without them. The truth is that sometimes all it takes is “a particle smaller than a speck of dust” to make nearly every machine in the world stop. Has it ever happened? Let us suppose it has. And let us imagine the silence right after that stoppage. Is it really silence? What other sounds and other voices are hidden in the silence of the machines? What languages do they speak, and what do they say?

Author's bio text
Sofia Dias and Vítor Roriz are a couple of artists who have been working together since 2006. The hybrid nature of their research has led them to create several performances, sound tracks, videos, podcasts and installations, crossing several backgrounds and blurring the boundaries between artistic fields. Their stage performances summon a refined choreographic language in connection with the word and the voice. In 2020, they created their first performance for children—Sons Mentirosos Misteriosos [Mysterious Lying Sounds].
