89º Anniversary Rivoli

In 2021 we must blow out the candles of one more anniversary of Rivoli from a distance. During these special days, as we celebrate our theatre’s 89th birthday, we invite you to join us online in a sharing moment. An anniversary at home, but keeping the stage open to the world.
The programme includes TEATRO NOVA EUROPA ’s new play, a choreography for two dancers and two musicians by NÉ BARROS, a double concert with JORGE QUEIJO +FRANCISCO ANTÃO and with the vocal collective COBRA’CORAL, a series of eleven performances by SOLVEIG PHYLLIS ROCHER based on the presentations held at TMP in 2020, a visual and literary itinerary in the voices of SIX DISEURS, the launching of a new issue of CADERNOS DO RIVOLI and the chance to (once again) watch the first instalment of the project PAR(S)—a film that is the result of the encounter between choreographer JOANA CASTRO and filmmaker CLÁUDIA VAREJÃO.
