Double Trouble #02
The second edition of Double Trouble is designed around the issues of time and matter, featuring works where rhythm, contemplation and the place of the body are central.
In its transposition to the digital universe, three national and international artists with unique paths and signatures are presented in a program that impels us to contemplate the future, creating intersections between the performative act and the here and now.
Flávio Rodrigues presents a documentary process, also in process, of the action-performance LAIVOS | Ante improvisos e ressonâncias [HINTS | Before Improvisation and Resonance], under the gaze of Gustavo dos Santos — a hybrid and experimental project, where the soundscape, the creation and manipulation of objects, sculpture and drawing are invoked; Tales Frey with Tapete vermelho [Red Carpet], brings us a sculptural piece, sharing time and space; choreographer Steven Michel and artist Théo Mercier present Affordable solution for better living, where they break the taboos of a healthy society by building a Kallax — the famous Ikea bookcase — transposing a commercial system into a choreographic piece.
Double Trouble enhances the questioning of ways of creating and doing through undisciplined discourses.
