Sinopse
Five young people remain in a post-adolescent limbo, dreaming of adventure and the day they'll leave behind the small coastal town where they eke out their existence. As if trying to find meaning in provincial life, they fill the emptiness of their days with flirting and partying, at the expense of their indulgent families. One day, one of them decides to drop everything and take the train to Rome... This third title in Federico Fellini's filmography is his first semi-autobiographical work, conceived from memories of his youth in Rimini, with well-developed characters: the skirt-chasing Fausto, forced to marry the girl he impregnated; Alberto, the eternal child; Leopoldo, a writer thirsty for fame; and Moraldo, the only member of the group tormented by a moral conscience.
