Mostra Estufa 2026

The Mostra Estufa was launched in 2018 as a result of a joint initiative by Erva Daninha and the Teatro Municipal do Porto to provide a platform for new languages, aesthetics and dramaturgies in contemporary circus. It is an annual programme that seeks to foster new creations which bring the circus closer to current aesthetic trends. In addition to the festival open to the public, Estufa offers a range of support measures for artistic creation that help to consolidate projects — funding, artist residencies, publicity, production, training, lighting, video, photography and technical support, amongst others.

In 2026, it brings to a close a cycle comprising nine editions and 27 new creations by artists of different techniques, perspectives, backgrounds, ages and genders. This final edition features three perspectives on balance and the manipulation of objects, with Inês Pinho, Pedro Matias and Vasco Gomes.
