This season, the Teatro Municipal do Porto also takes place on digital stages! At a time when theater auditorium seats are limited, we launched the internet outside, thus allowing those who are away or at home to watch our program. Some performances of 2020/2021 season, carefully filmed at the Municipal Theater of Porto and edited in order to allow the best translation for the screen, will be broadcast on our online stage and will be available online for 24 hours (Quintas de Leitura sessions will be broadcast live). We also imagine a series of projects specifically designed for digital media, such as PAR(S) – Online Performing Arts and Image—together five film/video directors and five artists from several performing disciplines, aiming at creating original works for the digital environment.
