On November 4th and 5th, Lithuanian artists Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė, Vaiva Grainytė and Lina Lapelytė present Sun & Sea at Teatro Rivoli. An opera-performance, winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2019, to see in a national premiere. For two days, the stage of the Grand Auditorium is transformed into an authentic beach, portraying the relationship between society and the planet and the consequences of the climate crisis — which emerge throughout the play in the face of the apparent laziness of vacationers.

The performance will be presented in four sessions per day and each session will last 1 hour. On Friday, it takes place at 19:30, 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30. On Saturday, the sessions are scheduled for 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00.

Bearing in mind the specific characteristics of the performance, consult the following information and recommendations:
– The performance will be seen standing at the stage catwalks — 5th (9 meters) and 6th floors (12 meters) — of the Grand Auditorium of Teatro Rivoli. Only standing seats;
– Access to the catwalks will be done by elevator or stairs, accompanied by ushers;
– For security reasons, before accessing the catwalks, personal belongings will have to be stored in the cloakroom;
– People with reduced mobility and their carer will be able to watch the performance standing at stage level;
– The performance is not recommended for people with labyrinthitis or chronic vertigo;
– Arrival 15 minutes before each session is recommended;
– Fresh and comfortable clothing is recommended.

Tickets 12€ are on sale here.
