Can care be a way of seeing the world? Who owns the care? Who defines it? What does the dictionary tell us? In the fourth Descortinar of the season, António Brito Guterres and Cristiana Vale Pires go from the origins to the intersections of this key concept to understand where and how we want to go, together.
António Brito Guterres is a social worker with a postgraduate degree in urban studies and a doctorate in the same thematic area. He also has training in foresight from the School of International Futures. He is a researcher at DINÂMIA’CET-Iscte. Among several studies, he was one of the authors of the “Strategies for the Culture of the City of Lisbon”. He is a member of the General Council of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
Cristiana Vale Pires, graduated in psychology, master and doctorate in anthropology, is a founding member of Kosmicare, where she works as a psychologist and project coordinator. She is a researcher at the Research Center for Human Development (CEDH) and a professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal.
