Conflict, violence, ecstasy of tragedy, desire for power: this is Howard Barker's "theatre of catastrophe". Before the premiere of “BARKERX2", a new creation by Público Reservado, Daniel Jonas unveils the language and discourse — "in your face", provocative, confrontational, obscene, radical — of the British playwright (and many other things).
"BARKERX2" brings together two plays by Barker ("Judith" and "Dead Hands"), staged by Renata Portas and translated by Daniel Jonas himself, and will be on stage from June 15th to 18th at Teatro Campo Alegre.
