Recurso is a training programme around the performing arts, with a focus on theatrical theory and creation, critical thinking, dramaturgical/scenic experimentation, and production. This resulted in 7 projects to be presented at CAMPUS Paulo Cunha e Silva (CAMPUS PCS).

Organized by the theatre company Estrutura (Cátia Pinheiro and José Nunes), in collaboration with José Maria Vieira Mendes and Vânia Rodrigues and co-produced by Teatro Municipal do Porto, the project took several motivated participants to CAMPUS PCS, from September to December 2021 to learn and practice theory, creation, and production in the performing arts. Despite having a focus on theatre, Recurso is understood as a deconstructed training programme, which intersects performance, visual arts, and critical thinking.
Now, the participants are getting ready to present next Sunday, December 19th, from 3 pm, the results of the projects developed in the programme. These final exhibitions will be presented in different formats: performances, videos, site-specific intervention, or installation.

Recurso's resultant projects:
– 23h30, by David Almeida, Diogo Sottomayor, Inês Costa and Jonas Rocha
– Devolver ao Fogo, by Eduardo Batata
– Em Vidro, by Orlando Gilberto-Castro
– espelho-sofá, by Miguel Amorim
– Happy Hour, by Natasha Bulha Costa
– Predição Despassarada, by Carolina Garfo
– REDISCURSO, by Maria Teresa Barbosa
