Rentrée in September: two days to dance, see and listen the 22/23 season

In September, on the 16th and 17th, the engines warm up for the upcoming programming months. On Friday, the rentrée programme begins with the national premiere of “Via Injabulo” in the Grand Auditorium of Teatro Rivoli. A performance by the South African company Via Katlehong, which invited choreographers Marco da Silva Ferreira (“førms Inførms”) and Amala Dianor (“Emaphakathini”) to this work. After the performance, the celebration continues with a Kuze Kuse Party at Café Rivoli, which means "party until the end of the night" in Zulu. Entry is free.

On Saturday, the warm-up for the second day will take place at Praça D. João I with a Parallel Warm-up with Deeogo Oliveira (free upon registration). Then there is the second and final presentation of “Via Injabulo” in the Grand Auditorium. To end the night, Rivoli's Substage dives into the concert “There's no knowing”: a dialogue between Joana Gama's piano and Luís Fernandes' electronics.
