Descortinar [The Rite of Spring]

We said goodbye to Spring last week, but we continue to celebrate “The Rite of Spring”. Martim Sousa Tavares – conductor and fanboy of Igor Stravinsky – unveils one of the most recognized works of the Russian composer. An informed and passionate statement, an encounter with a score that is more rite than sacred, more naturalistic than religious.

In July, on the 15th and 16th, at 7:30 pm, the play will be on stage in the Grand Auditorium of Rivoli, in a collaboration between Teatro Praga and Metropolitana.
