We went with Hugo van der Ding to see the renovated Batalha Centro de Cinema. Since we were there we talked about the translation work he carried out for “Tudo sobre a minha Mãe” [All about my mother]. A play by Daniel Gorjão/Teatro do Vão, based on the film of the same name by Pedro Almodóvar, which will be on stage from January 27th to 29th, at 7:30 pm, in the Auditorium of Teatro Campo Alegre.
If the film was already amazing, the play is 10 times better, guarantees Hugo van der Ding. The translated text was 100 times better than the original version by the writer Samuel Adamson, he confesses to us.
