“Und” is a small fragment of the grand play by Howard Barker, a small fragmentthat takes us into an intense excavation of the experience of waiting, of conviction and of despair. A woman, Und, is waiting in front of a tea tray for a nameless, unknown man. There is sufficient evidence to suggest that the guest may be involved in fascist activities. Und, it seems, is a Jewish woman who is pretending to be an aristocrat.

“Good Girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere” is a theatre project of recognised credibility, under the artistic direction of Rogério de Carvalho, a member of the new generation of creators in the city of Porto with specific training in the field in which he works. Over the last 20 years, they have staged texts such as “Four Hours in Shatila” by Jean Genet, “ABC” by Heiner Müller, and “4.48 Psychosis” by Sarah Kane.
