In an open space located on the edge of a city, concrete grows as if it wanted to swallow what remains of nature — but it is there that wild vegetation insists on flourishing, in a gesture of resistance and diversity. MATAGAL is an interdisciplinary performance that brings together several artistic languages ??— dance, theatre, visual arts, music, video and lighting design. In this creative process, deaf and hearing interpreters seek, through poetry, a gesture of resistance. They seek, in words, a broader way of inhabiting and contemplating the world — of existing in a continuous process of transformation.
