Sinopse

The city of Porto has, in the last decade, gone through a unique period of growth and has won a new positioning to the eyes of the world. It became the city where everyone wanted to be, to visit, to know. We'vewitnessed the growth of tourism, investment, housing, of its inhabitants' quality of life. We've seen downtown's rebirth and smiles returning to the passersby. Vacant buildings returned to life. The city startedboiling in cultural, urban, and social dynamics. Porto has become an attractive city, trendy and distinctive.

But the pandemic outbreak in early 2020 came as a defining moment to all this growth and leadership the city hadin motion. Being optimists, and this being the correct attitude, we believe things will get better, directing towards a future with a progress as good or even better as the one we've lived until now.

‘Future is Now’ tries to find certainties in an uncertain moment. A portrait of a city's renaissance thanks to itsresilience and its people. Ambition is a contagious certainty, showing a city where a good future is possible. A sample of the city's genetics through its main engine, its people. A view through its scale, its quality oflife, the sophistication present in its internal mechanisms and its constructive posture regarding sustainability and its players. In Porto, the traditional coexists in balance with the contemporary side in a vision for the future, with thetalent pool it has and its workforce, the virtues and defects that make it an honest and unconquered city.
