Guilherme Vale

Guilherme Vale began studying piano at the Conservatory of Music and Dance Theater of Vila do Conde at the age of three, under the guidance of Professor Nuno Oliveira. He has participated in several national and international competitions, winning 21 first prizes. He has performed in various venues such as the Romantic Museum of Porto, the Casa Comum da Reitoria da UP, the Salão Nobre do Tribunal da Relação do Porto, the Pavillon de la Sirène in Paris, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York, and the Teatro Municipal de Vila do Conde, where he made his debut with an orchestra. He recently participated in the Laureates' Concert of the 3rd Margarida Magalhães de Sousa Competition, at the Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada, which was broadcast on RTP Açores. He has taken several masterclasses with renowned pianists, namely Sofia Lourenço, Sérgio de A., Paulo Oliveira, Luís Costa, Javier Otero Neira, Manuel Araújo, Jean Dubé, Vera Fonte, and Maria João Pires.
