Indiejunior Allianz - FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINEMA INFANTIL E JUVENIL DO PORTO

Indiejúnior Allianz - Porto International Children’s and Youth Film Festival is held in partnership with Porto City Council from 7 to 12 February, at Teatro Rivoli, Biblioteca Municipal Almeida Garrett and Cinema Trindade. This is a project designed specifically for the city of Porto and aims to contribute to the aesthetic and cultural formation of children and young people, through appreciation of film as an artistic and fun experience, according to the festival directors.
There will be six days to see more than 50 films from all over the world, designed for children and adolescents, divided into programmes for families, schools and the general public. Given its intended audience, the festival presents cartoons, fiction and documentaries.
The programme includes an international competition for shorts and feature films, a retrospective of the work of two directors, a section dedicated the classic films about childhood/adolescence and a section dedicated to the first films seen by various well-known figures.
