Sinopse
The starting point for the project Subterrâneo, Um Musical Obscuro was the news about the 33 men trapped in a collapse at the San José mine in Chile in 2010. Those were days that became weeks that became months until his rescue, confined to a small cave 700 meters deep and perhaps telling each other stories during that time. The image of a group of people imprisoned in hiding serves as an impulse to speak of the world around us and continually challenges us with walls, fires, bombs and speeches. The cave here is not a safe and stable place, but a territory in permanent motion, swallowing itself, a dark territory where bodies and shadows are confused. This is a spectacle that is heard before we see it. In this darkness, actors and spectators can sleep, sometimes dream.
