Sinopse
ABSOLUTO is an exhibition piece. It stems from a desire to reveal some of the everyday consequences inherent in the notion of tuning. It aims to highlight this internal and often solitary phenomenon, so that everyone can recognise it. The performance places the audience within a technical set-up and presents the terminology used to distinguish between connectors, based on human anatomy, with the fitting of the connectors as its central focus. ABSOLUTO also highlights the conservatism associated with classical music performance and the myth of its superiority. — Mariana Leite Soares
