Rodrigo Teixeira was born in Maia, in 2003, and started his musical studies at the age of 8 at the Maia Music Academy: violin and piano under Oleg Ter Martirosov and Marian Pivka, and musical education and composition under Rúben Andrade. Since 2016, he’s been studying with Jill Lawson at the Modern College (Lisbon) and under Teresa Xavier (piano) at the Porto Music Conservatory. He had classes with and attended master classes by Levente Kende, Caio Pagano, Dalia Ouziel, Miguel Borges Coelho, Fausto Neves and Naum Grubert. He is a piano accompanist for all instrument classes at the Maia Music Academy. He ranked first in several national and international competitions.
