Sinopse
It refers to the town where Nuno Cardoso was born and raised, and finds its founding assumption and creative challenge in the sentence "My body is my land, my land is in my body ". This sentence is at the start of a search for a place of creation grounded in the memory of the body, in the gesture that remained as a personality trait, and that is inextricably linked to the social and geographical context that forged him. This performance is not intended to be about the actual Canas de Senhorim; it is rather the anatomy of an identity that Nuno Cardoso has carried throughout his creative practice. It is, however, the stop in this trilogy that calls for the notion of autobiography, not transferring onto someone else’s texts the creative starting point.
