Sinopse

Receita do Povo, the new album by O Gringo Sou EU (Frankão), celebrates the knowledge passed down through oral traditions and collective experiences. Blending tradition and modernity, the album fuses the sounds of grime, drill, afrobeat, and Brazilian funk, creating a vibrant dialogue between the drum and the synthesizer. Bridging Brazil and Portugal, the record reflects over a decade of shared experiences and features collaborations with Luca Argel, Raquel Lima, and the Roma communities of Famalicão and Viseu, in a meeting of voices, rhythms, and affections.
