Little pop-up libraries

Theatre and books go hand in hand. That’s why it’s important to always have them close.  

Before and after the performances for schools and families, there’s a space at the Rivoli or the Campo Alegre where we can find books related to the world of each performance — the perfect setting to continue conversations with friends, family or simply with ourselves, lost in our own thoughts.       

These little pop-up libraries are made possible through our partnership with the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, featuring a carefully curated selection of books that complement and expand upon the experiences we have with the performances.
  

A library inside a theatre can be many things: a towel spread out in the shade of a tree or on the beach, a torch we shine into an unexplored cave, or the key to open a box we knew was somewhere out there, waiting for us.   

So, if you arrive early or want to linger a while after the performance, the books will be there.
