Quintas de Leitura

Nearly three years later, Nuno Júdice returns to this poetic series. We shall go through his book, “A Pura Inscrição do Amor” [The Pure Inscription of Love], in the voices of Manuela de Melo, Maria do Céu Ribeiro and João Paulo Costa, and listen to love being sung by a great Portuguese poet. In this book, Nuno Júdice collects poems he wrote on the subject over the years. His poetic universe will certainly impact on the five bright women fronting the session: Isabel Rio Novo (presenting and chatting with the invited poet), Manuela Pimentel (image), Angélica Salvi (harp) and Ece Canli (voice) / Nooito collective, and Daniel Seabra (aerial dance). The session comes to an end with a performance by one of the most remarkable Portuguese pop bands from the 1990s: Três Tristes Tigres. Ana Deus and Alexandre Soares will certainly move us with some of their more emblematic songs such as “Zap Canal” and “O Mundo a Meus Pés”.
