Word fever in the voice of five disarming poets: Catarina Nunes de Almeida, Cláudia R. Sampaio, Francisca Camelo, João Rios and Renato Filipe Cardoso. The jinx of writing combined with the art of saying. Illustrator Susana Carvalhinhos is in charge of the session’s image—her first time ever in this poetic series. Between readings, multi-instrumentalist Amadeu Magalhães draws magic from his cavaquinho. The session comes to an end with Ruído Vário, which brings together an unlikely trio: Ana Deus (voice), Luca Argel (voice and guitar) and Fernando Pessoa. Music breath impregnated with the words and genius of Pessoa. The session also features a special appearance by drag performer and singer Natasha Semmynova, who recently celebrated 20 career years.
