QUINTAS DE LEITURA

Susana Menezes and the actor Jorge Mota, in the company of the guest poets, will give the readings for the session, which will also mark the debut of André da Loba in this poetry cycle. The screen of Teatro Campo Alegre will be taken over by the striking talent of this artist, considered one of the 200 best illustrators in the world. A regular contributor to the New York Times and with several international awards, André da Loba produced several illustrations for this show inspired by the poetic script proposed. Also makingher debut at “Quintas de Leitura”, Isabel Ventura (voice) will perform tracks from her album “To Jazz”. A free, creative and modern approach to some “classics” from the history of music. She will be accompanied by Marco Figueiredo (piano) and Miguel Ângelo (double bass). The session will have the special participation of “NT Studio”, a school of Chinese martial arts. Finally, the dancer Liliana Garcia and Ivo Ribeiro will appear in an acrobatic moment entitled “Acalma-me os ossos”.
