Quintas de Leitura

In 2023, Quintas de Leitura celebrates 22 years at the service of the Word. We thus asked 22 poets who shined on our stages to reveal a poem that still moves them and follows them along the road, a poem made with the syllables of their dreams. This session draws inspiration from a verse by Lawrence Ferlinghetti and is the inflammatory result of those revelations, some of which are surprising. 22 summoned poets, 22 communicating voices of Portuguese modern poetry, 22 imperishable poems, the supreme belief that “poetry provides the heart with words”. This session is a cry from the heart.
