In Um Quarto Só Para Si, we overlap theatrical and architectural ways of organising space and bodies, trusting that experimenting with different construction models—concerning performances and buildings—is an exercise of imagining possible societies. We put forward a material hypothesis: How to make a sketch of a building that allows for the permanent emancipation of the bodies inhabiting it, while returning to them the possibility of a joint existence? — silentparty

silentparty comprises Mafalda Banquart, Emanuel Santos, Tiago Araújo and Tiago Jácome. These creators got together after completing Recurso (2018, Porto). Among their projects, they highlight manifesta (all), Ímpar and Imparidades (Mafalda Banquart and Tiago Jácome), What Plato Said to Ariana Grande (Mafalda Banquart and Emanuel Santos) and my technological pets (Mafalda Banquart), as well as the research projects associated with Reclamar Tempo: JUKEBOX (Tiago Araújo) and All You Need Is All (Tiago Jácome).
