In Elas entram e ficam!, we unfold about what the archive might be, the documentation of a cultural policy in a theater company, and its socioeconomic relationship. Its starting point is the texts, the pieces, the news, and the photographic archive of the records of the company’s essays and shows over the 70 years. A journey, which aims to draw a timeline, allowing to build a new narrative, reflecting on the role, stories and micro-stories of the female characters, represented so far. — Tânia Dinis


Tania Dinis (1983). Vila Nova de Famalicão. Master in Contemporary Artistic Practices FBAUP, 2015. The work crosses different perspectives and artistic fields, such as photography, performance, cinema, starting from family archive images and other real-life image records. In her films, Lourdes 2021, Incentive award at FUSO, Não são favas, são feijocas 2013, awarded at several film festivals, Laura 2017 prize at Arquivo em Cartaz – International Archive Film Festival. Selected for ARTIST NO CENTRO 2020/2021 by Oficina – Guimarães. She has participated in several group exhibitions. It is represented in the collection of contemporary art of the Municipality of Porto.
