Sinopse
In this performance, we offer the audience a game that oscillates between what we know and what we don’t know — what we expect to happen and what actually does. This creation is based on a personal memory of how certain stories and games were (and are) requested over and over again by the younger generations: “Tell it again! Tell it again! Do it again!” The piece mainly takes place between two characters who meet and miss each other, under the watchful eye of a cat - yes, we’ve invited you to join in! - in a stage space divided between inside and outside, here and there. Outra vez miau! is a show for all ages in which humans, puppets and objects coexist to tell, over and over again, a story that is, in fact, many. — Igor Gandra & Carla Veloso

Text
Author's bio text
Teatro de Ferro was founded in 1999. The company's work has been developed in the field of theatre of and with puppets and objects. Its practice is based on a research logic in which the puppet has assumed a matrix value, in its possible hybridizations. The relations of the body-interpreter with the manipulated object and the implication of each spectator in the construction of this relationship are lines of reflection transversal to the artistic practice of Teatro de Ferro.
