Sinopse

The Old Jerusalem project started roughly in the middle of 2001, and in December of that same year it recorded its first presentation together with All Polacca. It was also the first time Francisco Silva, the mentor of the band, made a public appearance as songwriter. After a few concerts and participations in several compilation records, the Old Jerusalem project released its debut album, April, in January of 2003. It was produced by Paulo Miranda and released by the late Bor Land. Old Jerusalem has been fairly busy ever since, performing concerts, releasing new records and collaborating with other artists, not only as a musician/performer (The Unplayable Sofa Guitar, Green Machine, and The Neon Road, among others), but also as an author, having worked with artists as diverse as Carlos Bica, Bernardo Sassetti, Blind Zero, Alla Polacca, Mandrágora, Kubik and Krake. The concert in the under stage on December 11 is the start of a new chapter for the project, and it anticipates a new album—Old Jerusalem’s eighth—scheduled to be released in February of 2021 and distributed by Sony Music. The album is called Certain rivers, it was mixed by Chuck Zwicky and features Peter Broderick, who lends his voice to the presentation single High high up that hill.
