Anna Massoni

Whereas the gesture of a solo has a tendency to affirm a solitude, here this solitude is problematized: how can fictions allow the action to be off-centred? How can relations exist by themselves? Rideau is a series of fragments, a combination of lines and patterns that trace and weave an overall drawing, unfolding an open network of contiguities and dissociations between the body, the space of the stage, the lights and the music.


Anna Massoni is a freelance performer and choreographer based in Paris. She was trained in contemporary dance at the National Conservatory of Lyon (CNSMD). As a performer, she currently works with Noé Soulier, Vincent Weber, Simone Truong and Cindy Van Acker. She co-created the pieces (To) Come and See (2015) in collaboration with Simone Truong, Eilit Marom, Elpida Orfanidou and Adina Secretan and Ornement (2016) together with Vania Vaneau. Then she created Notte, in 2019, Pièce d’angle (2020) and Rideau (2022). She is hosted in CND Pantin for a long residency from 2021.
