Sinopse
The Landscape, Bodies and Milk.
Songs of Ascension was choreographed in 2019 by Iris Auguste in collaboration with the LaMaison Collective. The piece is a sensory journey that investigates female bodily freedom, allowing performers to explore a spontaneous relationship with objects, sounds, and other bodies. The game is played with eyes closed to disconnect from the violence of the unattainable ideals of beauty, the representations and the preconceived ways associated with femininity. Connecting with the authorship of their own body, the performers. — Beatriz Moreira, Iris Auguste, Giulia Micelli
