boca-rota

boca-rota is an emerging project from the city of Porto, navigating the space between poetry, experimentation and music without clear boundaries. It tells stories that are true and others that might well be true, never resorting to forced rhymes or clumsy figures of speech. Created by Sofia Bodas de Carvalho and José Costa, the project has so far featured collaborations with musicians João Freitas, Gabriel Valente and Susana Brochado. On stage, poetry dissolves into the textures of guitars, double bass and percussion, creating an immersive atmosphere that invites reverie and expansive dreaming.
