How can dance be recorded, historiographied? What about the body that dances? What can a body? Bodies: body work. Body-archive. Give body to body. What dances the body that dances? Some say we need an encyclopedia or a manual to understand dance. We like encyclopedias and manuals. Starting from this premise, we challenge those who create, think and write about dance, to deconstruct with us this idea: from this arises History(s) of Dance. In this activity, each issue is a conversation, a map. Two years after the first session, we give body to the texts. In its tenth edition, Cadernos do Rivoli returns to focus exclusively on dance. It’s a file, without classifiers. Mutatis mutandis.
