Lying on the ground, screaming and yelling for life, they melt with rhythms and dust, breathing gasoline, among dogs, shifting from laughter to tears, meeting death, always on the road, inside the car, sad, happy… Pour le meilleur et pour le pire [For Better, for Worse] tells the story of two artists bathed in poetry, rock ‘n’ roll and humour. It is about living as a couple, and it strips circus lifestyle naked. While a car radio is playing, this couple shares their intimacy, their extraordinary relationship, with the audience. Doing hand-to-hand, astonishing acrobatics, Icarus games, aerial stunts, balancing acts and so on, Victor and Kati, present their own view of circus together on stage. Pour le meilleur et pour le pire is a strong and compelling circus performance, which promises to strike at the best and worst of human nature.
